Lynn Chastain

Lynn Chastain, 66 of Dumas, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 oclock in the morning on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Seth Seale officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Lynn was born on May 25, 1954 in Holdenville, OK to Doug and Clydean (Lavalley) Chastain. She grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School. While in high school, Lynn loved to barrel race. She also had a passion for photography and owned and operated Kiss Photography in Dumas. Lynn enjoyed being outdoors and loved to travel to Colorado. She had a great love for animals and her dog Vash. Lynn loved her grandchildren and enjoyed being with them. Lynn was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Doug Chastain. Lynn is survived by her sons: Robert Boyett and wife Megan of Fritch, TX and Travis Boyett and wife Ashley of Michigan; grandchildren: Cherilyn, Ryleah, Gideon, Kendall and Everett; mother: Clydean Chastain of Dumas, TX; brother: Gary Chastain and wife Teresa of Dumas, TX; nephews: Derek Chastain and wife Karrisa of Houston, TX and Shawn Chastain and wife Samantha of Longview, TX; numerous other extended family members. The family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Miami, Florida 33134.
