Mabel Moore

Mabel Moore, 92 of Dumas passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Seth Seale officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Mabel was born on February 1, 1926 in Crocker, MO to Hank and Justy (Hatch) Longbine. She grew up in Crocker and graduated from Crocker High School. She later moved to Craig, CO where she was the assistant manager at Safeway until her retirement. She then moved to Dumas where she worked at Wal-Mart. Mabel loved to sew, cook and take care of people. She also enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She was a member of the North Plains Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother 3 sisters; a son: John Paul Moore; and daughter: Ethel Mae Moore. Mabel is survived by sons: Charles Moore of Higbee, MO, Clarence Moore, Jr. of Tonto Basin, AZ; daughters: Judy Heaney and husband Dennis of Elk Springs, CO, Vera Farrell of Dumas, Wanda Jeffery of Colorado Springs, CO and Rita Banks and husband Bobby of Dumas; several grand and great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to Memorial Hospice, 224 E 2nd, Dumas TX 79029.
