Mae E Adams

Mae E. Adams, 71, of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Brad Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening on Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Mae was born on July 11, 1946 in Borger, TX to William and Wilbertta (Upson) Sosebee. The family moved to Dumas when she was nine and she would later graduate from Dumas High School. She was united in marriage to Don Adams on July 12, 1968 in Dumas where the couple would raise their family. Mae loved to play bingo, shop, travel and had a special place in her heart for babies. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and will be missed by all who knew her. Mae was preceded in death by her mother; Wilbertta; husband: Don Adams; son: Greg Adams; daughter: Kellie Cox. She is survived by her father Bill Sosebee of Dumas; sister: Sheila Sosebee of Dumas; grandchildren: Lance Fisk and wife Jennifer, Eric Fisk and wife Emily, Kelton Fisk, Josh Adams, Ashlyn Adams, Austin Adams and Nolan Adams; a special friend Lavonna Thornburg. The family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to Memorial Hospice, 224 E 2nd, Dumas TX 79029.
