Marcos Josue Arellano

Marcos Arellano, 39 of Amarillo and formerly of Dumas, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, November 15, 2021, at First Street Church with Pastor Jose Contreras officiating. Marcos will be available for viewing on Sunday from 12 o’clock in the afternoon until 8 o’clock in the evening at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Marcos was born on January 25, 1982, in Dumas, TX to Nicolas and Leticia (Herrera) Arellano. He was united in marriage to Melissa Guerra on January 6, 2006, in Dumas, TX. He had many interests one he enjoyed the most was rooster enthusiast; he played baseball and later softball. Marcos was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan and fisherman. His special time was cooking out and spending time with his family outdoors. His one true passion in life were his children and wife; he was very proud of them. Marcos was a member of Trinity Fellowship church. He will always be loved and dearly missed by his family and friends. Marcos is survived by his wife Melissa Arellano of the home; son: Luis Marcos Arellano of Huntsville, TX; daughter: Laila Monique Arellano of Lubbock, TX; parents: Nicolas and Leticia Arellano of Dumas, TX; sisters: Venessa Nanez, Zinia Marie Arellano and husband Miguel Trejo all of Dumas; grandmother: Maria Arellano of Dumas, TX; numerous nieces and nephews as well as other extended family members.
