Margaret Ann McEwan Rindahl

Margaret Ann McEwan Rindahl, 77, of Dumas, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Dumas Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening on Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Margaret was born on June 28, 1940 in Amarillo TX to Buddy and Mary Nell McEwan. She grew up in Dumas and married Ernie Rindahl on August 15, 1959 in Dumas. Margaret worked at JBS Swift for many years and was always known as a hard worker. Margaret, in her younger years, enjoyed being outdoors and camping. She also loved the trips she would take to Red River. Her greatest joy in life was her family, she lived for her kids and grandchildren. Margaret was of Christian Faith and will be missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings: LeRoy McEwan, Bobby McEwan and Vicky McEwan; grandson: Michael 'Mikey' Suarez; great grandchildren: Paizlee Rindahl, Heaven Villalobos, Hope Villalobos and Cymon Zavate. Margaret is survived by her children: Sherry Lynn Suarez and husband David of Live Oak, CA, Lynda Carol Lund and husband Kenny of Halstad, MN, Michael Ernest Rindahl and wife Mila of Severy, KS, Trena Denise Volden and husband Daren of Dumas, TX and Eric Wayne Rindahl and wife Katie of Minneapolis, MN; brothers: Danny McEwan of Dumas, TX and Matt McEwan of Mesa, AZ; 20 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren.
