Maria Elena Valles

Maria Elena Valles, 68 of Cactus, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019. A Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at for 2:30 in the afternoon on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow a Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Maria was born on August 18, 1950 to Florentino Montes Rodriguez and Maria Elena Garcia Gomez. She was a resident of Cactus since 1992. Maria was united in marriage to Manuel Valles Lopez in 1972. Her favorite pastime was sewing; she was a very talented sewer. Maria was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and one brother. Maria is survived by her husband, Manuel of the home; children: Lorenzo Valles Montes of Cactus, Monica Robles of Dumas, Juan Manuel Valles Montes of Cactus, Ana Luisa Rodriguez of Dumas, Tomas Valles Montes of Dumas, and Rosa Maria Kazi of Portland, OR; 12 brothers and sisters; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
