Marjorie Geneva Collier

July 4, 1929 — April 3, 2012

Marjorie Geneva Collier, 82, passed away April 3, 2012, in Wichita Falls, TX. Services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Life Tabernacle in Dumas. Rev. Mark Wallis, pastor of the church will be officiating. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Marjorie was born July 4, 1929, in Sedan, N.M. to Fines Ward and Victory Mae Griggs Fowlkes. She married William James Collier on August 26, 1954, in Dumas, TX. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren which she loved unconditionally each in their own way. She was a woman who selflessly cared for, listened intently to, and loved in grace each person whom she made contact with. She found her peace and joy in Gods great creation. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, James a son, Weldon Kirk a soninlaw, Barry McCutchan her parents and sisters, Nada McCutchan, Delores Paschal, and Ruth Spencer. Survivors include a daughter, Denise Ann McCutchan, of Dumas sons, Billy Carl Collier, of Waller, Texas and Gary Lynn Collier and wife, Melissa, of Wichita Falls, Texas grandchildren, Scott McCutchan, Chris Collier, Jessica Wright, Kami Sutton, Kerry Collier, Misty Barr, Bryan Collier and eight greatgrandchildren. All who cared for her, while at the Presbyterian Manor and the Earl W. Crawford House of Hope blessed her daily with compassionate loving care. The family is eternally grateful for the exceptional staff. Memorials may be made to Presbyterian Manors Good Samaritan Fund, 4600 Taft Boulevard, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.
