Mark Steven Ellibee

Mark Steven Ellibee, 69 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Youth Pastor Zane Powers of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Mark was born on January 24, 1955, in Minneapolis, MN to Leroy and Doloris (Tilman) Ellibee. On November 30, 1979, he married his beloved wife, Marilyn Mobbs. They had just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. He worked at JBS for 40 years until his retirement. His interests included collecting Tweety Bird, fishing, watching drag racing, and motorcycles. Mark was also an avid Vikings fan. His time with his family was important to him, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Lorelei and Kathy; niece: Carolyn.

Mark is survived by his wife, Marilyn of the home; children: Kathy Boyd and husband Gary of Andrews, TX, Marsha Wathen and husband Mark of Dumas, TX, Bobby DeLong and wife Cherise of Canyon, TX, April Lorimer and husband Troy of Lubbock, TX; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sisters; Diane Lass and husband Tom of Dumas, TX, Michelle Williams and husband Mike of Dumas, TX, Sherri Copelin and husband Larry of Sunray, TX, Susan Huff and husband Mark, Fritch, TX, Patricia Ellibee of Fritch, TX ; brother: Michael Ellibee and wife Keisha of Wolfforth, TX.
