Marshall Rigdon, 60, formerly of Dumas, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in Bedford. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Mikel Petersen, minister of Perryton Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors.brbrMarshall was born December 29, 1948 in Sherman, Texas to Chester and Vadah Rigdon. He graduated from Dumas High School. He loved to play golf and watch football. He was currently a sales mamager for Fed Ex. Marshall was of the Baptist faith and had been a resident of Dumas until moving to Bedford thirteen years ago.brbrHe was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dwayne.brbrSurvivors include; his daughter, Holly Shields and husband Brad of Colleyville; his sons, Heath Rigdon of San Antonio and Hunter Rigdon and wife, Nerissa of Perryton; his brother, Gene Rigdon and wife, Kathy of Central, Utah; and 5 grandchildren.brbrThe family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society, 403 Pear, Dumas, TX 79029.
