Martha Belle Stevenson

Martha Belle Stevenson 91, formerly of Dumas, passed away Sunday February 20, 2010 in La Junta Colorado. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev Jesse Tyree of Las Animas officating. Burial will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangments are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Martha was born September 17, 1918 in Ellis County, OK to John and Cressie Harrel. On July 1, 1939 she was united in marriage to George Stevenson in Kansas City, MO. Martha loved to cruise with her husband on their BMW motorcyle and also had a love for camping and fishing. Her greatest love though was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Martha is survived by three sons, David Stevenson and wife Sonya of Dalhart, Terry Stevenson and wife Janice of Dumas and Randy Lee Stevenson of Fort Worth a daughter Anna Jo Samples of Las Animas CO 10 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. The family will be at 412 N Meredith.
