Martin Hernandez, Jr.

Martin Hernandez, Jr., 44 of Dumas passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Luis Lopez as celebrant. Cremation will follow under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Martin was born on September 30, 1980, in Dumas, TX to Martin, Sr. and Rosa Linda (Dominguez) Hernandez. He grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School. Martin had worked in the pipeline business until recently. He was a quiet man who loved to playing online games with his boys. 

He was preceded in death by his brother: Jesus Hernandez.

Martin is survived by his father: Martin Hernandez, Sr. of Dalhart, TX; mother: Rosa Linda Hernandez of Dumas, TX; daughter: Genovette Hernandez of Oklahoma City, OK, Carmalynn Annemarie Driftwood of Wyoming; sons: Damian Hernandez, Emilio Hernandez, Efrain Hernandez, Martin Hernandez, III all of Houston, TX; grandchildren: Elijah, Giovanni, Alonzo of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters: Linda Hernandez, Faviola Hernandez, Nuvia Hernandez all of Dumas, TX.
