Mary Corinne Hall

Mary C. Hall, 72 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the First Baptist Church with Zane Powers officiating. Interment will follow in the Dumas Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock in the evening on Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Mary C. Hall was born in Plainview, TX on July 28, 1946 to Ben F. Cox Jr. and Audie Mae Bynum. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. She married Richard E. Hall on December 21, 1973 and the couple made Dumas their home. She worked in the cafeteria at Morningside Elementary and retired from Dumas ISD. Mary especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending family reunions and caring for her many pets. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her brother: Ben F. Cox III; daughter: Beverly; and grandson: Brendan. She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Hall, of the home; children: Richard D. Hall and wife Nelta of Dumas, TX, Terri Hall and Denise Babeaux of Visalia, CA, John Hall and wife Beth of Cleburne, TX, Ginger Murnahan and husband Carl of Waco, TX and Susan Morris and husband Robert of Dumas, TX; eight grandchildren: Melanie Lopez, Keirstin Bennett, Jordan Morris, Bevany Haire, Meili Hall, Kaili Hall, Julie Hall and Kaylee Morris; several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sister: Edna Sanders and husband Leonard of Topeka, KS.
