Mary Piedad Moore

Mary Piedad Moore, 84, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 in Dumas. Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in Monahans Memorial Cemetery at Monahans, Texas, with Fr. John Lucido officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mary Piedad Moore was born November 11, 1924 in Presidio, Texas to Niconor and Felisita Hernandez. On June 30, 1965 she married Jack Moore at Monahans. He preceded her in death. She had been a resident of Monahans most of her life before moving to Dumas in 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. Survivors include; nephews, Victor Cobos and wife, Ester of Dumas, Ben Cobos and wife, Irene of El Paso, Gregario Garcia and wife, Delma of Monahans, Manuela Pelayo of Pyote, and Celia Navida and wife Facho of Pecos. The family suggests memorials be to Dumas Nursing Center, 315 E. 19th, Dumas, TX 79029. The family will be at 315 E. 8th in Dumas.
