Mary Roberts

Mary Roberts, 89 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. on Monday, November 05, 2012 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Mary was born on July 27, 1923 to Frank and Marie Vobruba in Booker, TX. She married the love of her life, Edward Ed Roberts, on May 18, 1950 in Booker. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1998. She was a retired DISD teacher and an avid gardener. She was a member of the American Association of University Women and Ladies Auxiliary Post 9022. Mary was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Mary was also preceded in death by her parents Frank and Marie, one daughter Teresa Kollman, and two sisters Anne and Bessie. She is survived by one daughter Cathy Ramsey and husband Jim, of Denver, CO, and one grandson Robert Kollman III, of College Station. The family suggest memorials be made to Sts.
