Faith, Family, Friends, was her motto. Duplicate Bridge and the Dallas Cowboys were the passion in Louises life.
Louise was born February 15, 1915 in Amarillo, Texas. She was a graduate of Amarillo High School in 1931. She married Gareld Tracy Tindle in 1937, the love of her life, and lived at Natural Gas Pipeline Co. plant outside of Dumas, Texas, and raised their 3 children, Jim Tindle, Suzy Stone, and Boo Boero. They moved their home to Dumas, Texas in 1964 where she remained until she moved to California to be closer to her daughters in 2003. She was a dyed in the wool Texan though, as she would tell all her friends in California.
Louise LOVED her bridge friends and became a Life Master in bridge while she was in Dumas. She always spoke so fondly of all the friends she had whom she played bridge with in the surrounding areas, Borger, Amarillo, and Dalhart. Then she moved to California and made a whole new set of wonderful bridge friends here. A special thanks to Peggy, Ellen, Michael, Tracy, Warren, and Margee, for making Mother feel so special and taking such good care of her. She DID love all of you
Today she was remembered by one of her nieces as a spitfire of a woman who always spoke her mind. Her words always came from her heart, even if they sometimes stung a little bit, you knew that they were spoken out of love. She had the gift of laughter and always sought happiness and a good time. She never met a stranger. It was easy to visit with her and feel like you had always known her. She had a strong sense of competitiveness tempered with compassion. Louise was a beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and aunt. She will live on through her family with all the quips and quotes she was always saying. She made us all laugh and roll our eyes with the many stories she told over and over again at every get together. She was celebrated on her 97th birthday in February by her family and close friends at her daughters home and by all her bridge friends on her Wednesday bridge day. She played 5 days of bridge two weeks ago before she became ill.
She will be missed by her son Jim Tindle Jan of Palm Desert, children Ricki Syufy Ray of San Rafael, and Jimmy Tindle, Tiffany of Santa Clara her daughters, Suzy Stone of Nashville and her children, Ashley Brunner Pat of Nashville, and Blake Stone of Chicago, and Boo Boero Gary of San Anselmo, and her sons, Ryan Wilson Lindsay of Petaluma, and Jason Wilson Sonia of Santa Monica, and her sister, Bettye Teague of Virginia Beach, VA. She loved her great grandchildren Ramey, Nico, and Sam Syufy, Hadley Brunner, and Piper Wilson, and Margee Callianan, who she loved like a daughter.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Gareld Tracy Tindle her brother, O.M. Solomon two sisters, Mabel Solomon and Mildred Bosler.
