Mattie Moore

Mattie Bell Moore, 89 formally of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brad Foster officiating. Interment will be at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Mattie was born on September 5, 1922 in Wichita Falls, TX to Virgil and Etta Stephens. She was united in marriage to Claude Moore on September 4, 1953 in Altus, OK. He preceded her in death 1997. Before moving to Amarillo in 2004, Mattie had been a resident of Dumas since 1954. She was of the Baptist faith. Mattie is survived by one daughter: Letha and husband Bob Ehret, of Amarillo two sisters: Veretta Dale, of Borger Loretta Potarf, of Gravette, AR one brother: Vernon Stephens, of Fort Worth two grandchildren two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mattie is preceded in death by her husband: Claude her parents and several brothers and sisters.
