Mauricio "Wicho" Flores

Mauricio “Wicho” Flores, 65 of Dumas passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held at Walsh Cemetery in Colorado. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. 

Wicho was born on July 26, 1959, in Plainview, TX to Andres and Rosa (Torres) Flores. Family was very important to him. He loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews. Wicho worked as a handyman and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Socorro Rios and Andrea Williams; brothers: John Flores and Daniel Flores; nephews: Joe Bob Cobos and Joshua Andres Flores; brother-in-law: Robert Cobos. 

Wicho is survived by his brothers: Ector Flores and Andy Flores; sisters: Ignatia Flores, Yolanda Flores, and Annie Cobos all of Dumas, TX along with countless nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
