Michael DeWain Trayler

It is with great sorrow that the family of Michael DeWain Trayler announces his passing on October 22, 2021. DeWain was born on February 13, 1964 to Dr. Charles & Judi Trayler in Petersburg, Texas. He married his sweetheart Suzanne in December of 1996 and immediately and lovingly filled the role of Dad (Papa) to her two year old son Grayson. In 2002 Lilia was born to complete the family and he was wrapped around her finger from the get go. DeWain, his wife Suzanne and their two children, Grayson, and Lilia moved to Stratford, Texas in 2002 and resided there until the time of his death. Along with his wife and two children, survivors include Grayson’s wife Carin, and daughter Ellie; parents Dr. Charles & Judi Trayler; sister Michelle, husband Jay Pharis, and their two children Keslie & Trenton; mother in law Rita and husband Keith Morgan; sister in law Sharon, husband Mark Fuston, and their children Emma & Gracie. A memorial fund has been set up at Happy State Bank in DeWain’s memory to aid in the funding of Lilia’s education. The family respectfully requests no flowers /plants.There will be a fellowship in honor of DeWain on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 7 o'clock in the evening at the Stratford Church of Christ. All are welcome to attend.
