Michael Ray King

Michael Ray King, 71 of Amarillo, passed away on July 14, 2023. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Michael was born on May 29, 1952, in Plainview, TX to William “Bill" King and Madelyn Hiles. He graduated from Plainview High School and attended West Texas University before joining the United States Marine Corp. He retired from Binswanger Glass in 2022. His favorite pastime was barbequing with family and friends. Mike especially loved to travel and mowing with his riding lawn mower. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Larry King; sister: Deborah Webb.

Michael is survived by his wife Sharon King of the home; son: Chris Williams; brother: Tommy King and wife Ella of Katy, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
