Michael Langford, 87 of Dumas passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Due to current restrictions, memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Michael was born on February 6, 1933 in Liverpool, England to William and Mary (Foster) Langford. He honorably service in the British Army until he retired as a Colonel. Upon leaving the army he moved to America and eventually became a U.S. citizen. He was proud to call himself an American and a Texan. Michael was always the gentleman and very friendly to all. He loved food and enjoyed cooking. Michael also loved to sing and sang in the choir at church. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, and his wife Pat Langford.
Michael is survived by his sons: Dale Kinzy and Charlie Reed both of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Holly Kinzy of Dumas, TX, Briteny Daugherty and husband Mike Marra of Vega, TX, Heaven Wagner and husband Paul of Hammond, LA, and Sarah Diseker and husband Jake of Dumas, TX; great-grandchildren: Avery Lefever, Alexis Lefever, Taytum Lefever, Zoe Shephard, Alana Daugherty, Levi Daughtery, Bella Marra, Millie Marra, Adrian Rico Wagner, Cameron Moran, and Kinzy Diseker; and great-great-grandson: Dax Young.
