Miguel G. Mike Felan

Miguel "Mike" Felan, 77 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020. The rosary will be recited at 7 oclock in the evening on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Mike was born on August 5, 1943 in San Antonio, TX to Gregorio and Guadalupe Galindo Felan. He was united in marriage to Nancy Hernandez on January 3, 1963 in Levelland, TX. The couple moved to Dumas in 1964 where they made their home and raised their children. Mike worked at Valero as an assistant operator for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed football, baseball, the Dallas Cowboys and gambling. His greatest joy was watching and supporting his grandchildren in all their activities. He was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Yolanda Pompa. Mike is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy of the home; children: Jackie Reyna and husband Jessie of Bovina, TX, Gregorio Felan and wife Manuela of Borger, TX, Joseph M. Felan and wife Mary of Lubbock, TX and Christopher Felan and wife Frances of Dumas, TX; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
