Mike Wells

Mike Wells, 70 of Stratford, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. A Memorial service is scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Stratford with Pastor Michael Rinne, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Mike was born on November 3, 1952, in Dumas, TX to Ross and Dorless (Parker) Wells. He grew up in Stratford and graduated from Stratford High School. After graduation, Mike attended New Mexico Military Institute for two years and then returned home to Stratford where he farmed. He married Nora Hampton on January 15, 1977 in Stratford, TX. Mike loved to fish, hunt and ride his motorcycle.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Stratford.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ross Wells.

Mike is survived by his wife, Nora of the home; son: Parker Wells and wife Melissa of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren: Jacob and Chloe of Colorado Springs, CO; mother: Dorless Wells of Amarillo, TX; sister: Leslie Wells of Amarillo, TX; brother: Roger Wells of Stratford, TX; nieces: Lara, Addie and Maylee.

The family suggests, with gratitude, memorials be made to Stratford EMS.
