Moncerrat Marquez

Moncerrat Marquez, 82 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Lupe Mayorga, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock in the evening on Thursday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Moncerrat was born on March 17, 1936 in Chihuahua, MX to Manuel and Maria (Ortega) Duran. She married Eduwiges Marquez on January 30, 1954. Moncerrat loved her family very much. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law: Arturo Reyes. She is survived by her husband Eduwiges of the home; her children: Maria Marquez, Rosa Marquez, Socorro Marquez and wife Yolanda, Victoria Macias and husband Ignacio, Irene Reyes, Vico Marquez and wife Sharon, Martina Sandoval and husband Gonsalo, Patricia Marquez and husband Manuel, Moncerrat Marquez and wife Lourdes, and Cecy Marquez and Martin Ponce; 32 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
