Monica Carbajal

Monica Carbajal, 43 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Memorial services are scheduled for 2 oclock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Grace Thru Faith with Pastor Jori Buchenau, pastor of the church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson~Morrison Funeral Directors. Monica was born on August 25, 1977 in Acambaro Guanajuato Mexico to Faustino Quijada and Maria Guadalupe Castro Lopez. She was united in marriage to Joel Carbajal on April 13, 1996 in Acambaro Guanajuato Mexico; the couple would eventually move to Dumas where they raised their boys and made their home. Monica worked in Central Office for the Dumas Independent School District and enjoyed her work and the people she worked with. She was also a very big supporter of the Dumas High School Band where she was known to all the kids as "Miss Monica". She loved cooking for her boys and family and was a member of Grace Thru Faith. Monica is survived by her husband, Joel of the home; sons: Joel Emanuel Carbajal and wife Citlaly and Daniel Isaac Carbajal, all of Dumas, TX; parents: Faustino Quijada and Maria Guadalupe Castro of Mexico; siblings: Antonio Quijada, Rosie Quijada, Josefina Quijada, Angeles Quijada, Maria Guadalupe Quijada and Faustino Quijada all of Mexico.
