Monica Magallanes

Monica Magallanes 18 passed away Friday, November 30, 2007 in Amarillo, Texas. Rosary will be held Sunday, December 2, 2007 at 6:00 PM in Morrison Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 3, 2007 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Albaladejo, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Monica was born February 7, 1989 in Dumas, Texas to Ramiro and Martha Magallanes. She was a life time resident of Cactus and was a graduate of Dumas High School in May of 2007. In 2006 she was the Dumas High School homecoming queen. She was a server at the El Rancho restaurant for the past 3 years. Monica was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cactus. Survivors include; her parents, Martha and Ramiro Magallanes of Cactus; sister, Nallely Porras and husband, Carlos of Texhoma; grandparents, Lucia Fernandez and Alfredo Venzor and grandmother, Petra Magallanes all of Mexico.
