Our Heavenly Father called Nathalee Clark Brown home on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. She was 88 years old. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Dumas. Rev. Jerry Howe, pastor of the church will be officiating. Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Nathalee was born on October 22, 1922 near Channing, Texas. She attended school at Middlewell and Dumas Schools. She was married on October 23, 1938 to Herbert Clark at the First Baptist Church in Amarillo. They were both members of earlyday Moore county families. Herbert preceded her in death on March 12, 1991. They were active in farming and ranching.
Nathalee joined the First Baptist Church in Dumas on November 27, 1938. She was a faithful servant of the Lord in the First Baptist Church in Dumas, Texas. She was a leader in Sunday school and also served at the local and state levels of Womans Missionary Union. She was dedicated and loved in her roles as wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and teacher.
Nathalee was very talented and used her hands to create beauty all around her. Some of the arts she enjoyed doing were ceramics, china painting and arranging flowers. She shared her enthusiasm for china painting by teaching others in her home.
She married L.S. Brown on August 2, 1991 and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ines Ham soninlaw, Ralph Ramsay and daughterinlaw, Bessie Clark.
Survivors include son Howard Clark and wife Kathy her daughters, Mary Ida Barnes and husband Gene, and Pam Lamberth and husband Kerry five grandsons, Stacey Ramsay and wife Shannon, Doyle Ramsay and wife Sue, Brent Clark and wife Nicole, Brad Clark and wife Christi, and Chris Lamberth and wife Melissa two granddaughters, Tamara Lamberth Sanford and husband Lee, and Tiffany Lamberth 11 great grandchildren, Ben, Nick and Kaitlin Ramsay, Hailey Ramsay, Brennan, Brett and Bricen Clark, Jackson, Madison and Judson Clark, and Rylan Lamberth brother Harold Ham and wife Evelyn sisters, Juanita Hardaway, Jean Wolfe and husband Nelson.
