Neal Holmes

Neal Holmes 82 passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006 in Dumas, Texas. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Dumas, with Bill Ramsey, family friend officiating. Mr. Holmes was born August 1, 1924 in Worthington, MN to Hugo and Cora Holmes. Prior to moving to Dumas in 1975 he was a longtime resident of Twin Falls, Idaho. On June 19, 1964 he married Jessie Allison who preceded him in death on June 5, 2006. He was an accountant and worked for Beatrice Food Co. for 20 years in Nampa and Twin Falls, Idaho. He was comptroller of Texas Beef Producers for 14 years before retiring. Survivors include two sons; Bob Holmes of Caldwell, ID and Steven Holmes of Tacoma, WA.; one daughter Donna Moss of Caldwell, ID; one sister Eileen Tobler of Sun City, AZ; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
