Neenah Blackburn

Neenah Blackburn, 79, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009 in Dumas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 17, 2009 at Dumas Cemetery with Rev. Mark Wallis, pastor of Life Tabernacle officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Neenah Blackburn was born November 26, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Elisha and Alta Boveri. On January 8, 1977 she married Dr. Floyd Blackburn in Dumas. She loved to go to the horse races and to Las Vegas. Her hobbies were sewing, interior design and cooking. Survivors include; her husband, Dr. Floyd Blackburn of the home; daughters, Lynn Harbert and husband Darrel of Dumas, Kimi Dove and husband Tom of Germany, Barbara Blackburn of Gonzales, Lauren Richmond and husband Mark of Michigan, and Martha Pease and husband Allen of Tulsa, Okla; sons, David Blackburn and wife, Linda of North Carolina, Russell Blackburn of College Station; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
