Neva Parker

Neva \x93Nell\x94 Parker, 74 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 o\x92clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Matt Wolfington, of St. Luke\x92s United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Nell was born July 5, 1940 in Hedley, TX. She was the daughter of A.J. and Velma (Collier) Thomas. On March 14, 1961, she was united in marriage to Bob Parker in Dumas. Nell was an avid reader. She had a wonderful love of life, always happy, and very well liked. Nell was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished the moments she spent playing with her grandchildren. Nell will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister. Nell is survived by her husband Bob, of the home; her sons: Bryan Hudson and wife Nona of Dumas, TX and Mark Parker and wife Sandra of Lubbock; three nieces and three nephews; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
