Nina Rich

Nina Rich -91 passed away Friday, April 25, 2008, in Dumas, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 28, 2008 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Cain, interim pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating and Dan Turner, former minister of music of the church assisting. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Nina was born March 25, 1917 in Caddo, Oklahoma to Dudley and Viola Hopkins Skinner. Nina was the eleventh child out of 12 children in her family and the last of the children to pass away. On December 25, 1934 she married Jerry B. Rich who preceded her in death on October 29, 1993. She and her husband moved to Cactus in 1949 and were charter members of the First Baptist Church of Cactus. She was the owner and operator of the Cactus Beauty Shop for 20 years. They later moved to Dumas in 1968 where Nina had numerous fun filled days as an operator at Sue's Beauty Shop. Nina lived a simple life but she touched many people in her own unique way. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church. Nina loved the Lord and loved her family and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry B. Rich and her ten sisters and one brother. Survivors include; her daughter, JerryAnn Rich Beilue and husband Dennis of Dumas; one grandson, Shane Beilue and wife Sandra of Kingwood, TX; two granddaughters, Nicole Clark and husband Brent of Dumas and Megan Beilue of Dallas, TX; and four great grandchildren, Brennan and Brette Clark of Dumas, Davis and Hannah Beilue of Kingwood, TX.
