Norma Valenzuela, 48 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Damon Akins, pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating. Services are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Norma was born October 25, 1966 in Tulia, TX to Ubaldo and Catalina (Granado) Basaldua. She moved to Moore County at a very young age and attended school in Sunray where she graduated high school. Norma loved her church and loved God. She was also a very good cook and loved to sing. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Dumas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother James.
She is survived by her daughter Catalina Almanza; son, Sixto Almanza and wife Desha; brothers: Gilbert Basaldua, Ruben Basaldua and Ubaldo Basaldua Jr.; grandchildren Miya and Clarke Almanza and Mia Aguayo.
