Ocie Laveta Moore

Ocie Laveta Moore, 88, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 2, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Wallis, pastor of Life Tabernacle officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Ocie Laveta Moore was born July 2, 1921 at Arnett, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Grace Brown. On September 2, 1937 she married Jasper Moore at Arnett, Okla. He preceded her in death August 10, 1995. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Dumas since 1941. Ocie was a member of Bethel Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and her son Ronald J. Moore. Survivors include sons, Floyd D. Moore and wife, Toy of Weatherford, Francis Butch Moore and wife, Bobbie of Amarillo daughter, Javeta C. McGill of Amarillo 14 grandchildren and many greatgrandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society, 403 Pear, Dumas, and TX 79029.
