Opal Carolyn Williams Cartrite, 91 of Sunray, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Lane Memorial Cemetery with Wayne Norrell, family friend, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Carolyn was born on May 8, 1928 in Duncan, OK to EG and Alice (Holt) Williams. She married Wayne on August 11, 1951 in Clovis, NM. Carolyn was the former owner of the Posey Patch and drove a grain truck when she worked on the farm. She was very talented and helped her mother in law making and decorating birthday and wedding cakes. She was raised Southern Baptist and will be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Ernest Glenn Williams and Herbert Williams; sons: Arthur Wayne and James Kirk. She is survived by her husband Wayne; children: Vicki Bowling and husband Greg of Canadian, TX and Dalton Cartrite and wife Robin of Sunray, TX; grandchildren: Michael Cartrite, Lexie Brewton, Stephanie Voelker, Tanner Cartrite and Tatum Cartrite; 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
