Orbuth Swarb, 82,passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 in Amarillo. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 12, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Orbuth Swarb was born October 1, 1927 in Forest, Louisiana to John and Lois Hutson. She was raised by her older sister, Lennie Dupree and her husband John. On October 12, 1967 she married James S. Swarb in Dumas, Texas. She worked for CutRate Grocery for 25 years. She had been a resident of Dumas since 1949 and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include James S. Swarb, of the home son, Jimmy Hunt and wife, Melissa of Conroe daughters, Belinda Strader and husband, Dennis of Corpus Christi, Pam Williams of Dumas and Sheila Parodi and husband, Mike of Amarillo sisters, Eleanor Beck of Bethany, OK, Johnnie Faye Webb of Sun City, CA brothers, Troy Hutson of Canadian, Bill Dupree of Sun City, CA 8 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. The family suggest memorial be to BSA Hospice, PO Box 950, Amarillo, TX79105. The family will be at 141 Cherry in Dumas.
