Orvil L. Neugin, 89 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 oclock in the afternoon on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Frank Gordoa officiating. Interment will follow in Stinnett Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #224 under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors.
Orvil was born on June 14, 1929 in Proctor, OK to Jack Jr. and Annie Mae (Mode) Neugin. He served in the United States Army as a radio operator earning a Korean Service Medal with three bronze stars, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Orvil worked for Panhandle Eastern as a regional supervisor until his retirement. Orvil enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking and was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; 2 sisters and his first wife Marcel Neugin.
Orvil is survived by his wife, Bobbie Neugin, of the home; daughters: Rene'e Brown and husband Benny, Rhonda Vincent and husband Rob and Deletta Wackler and husband Doug all of Dumas, TX; stepsons: Johnny Dickinson of San Angelo, TX, Richard Dickinson and wife Cathy of Ft. Worth, TX, and Jack Boyer and wife Patty of Simpsonville, SC; sister in law: Pam Fowler and husband Melvin of Amarillo, TX; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The family will be at 1209 Melinda Lane.
