Pablo Carbajal, Sr.

Pablo Carbajal, Sr. 69 of Dumas left this earthly home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 30, 2014. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 1 oclock in the afternoon on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Templo Libertad with Pastor Leoncio Estrada and CoPastor Pablo Carbajal, Jr., officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 5 oclock in the afternoon on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the church. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Pablo was born on September 25, 1945 to Toribio and Maria Garcia Carbajal in Matamoros, Mexico. Pablo was a minister at Templo Libertad for 13 years before he retired. He married the love of his life, Aurora San Miguel, on October 25, 1963 in Dumas. They enjoyed 51 years of marriage. His favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting he especially loved his dogs. Pablo had a love for music and enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother he will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Pablo is preceded in death by his parents, Toribio and Maria Carbajal two brothers: Esteban and Francisco Carbajal two sisters: Petra and Margarita Carbajal. He is survived by his wife, Aurora of the home two daughters: Andrea Estrada and husband Leoncio of Dumas, TX, Linda C. Medina of Amarillo, TX three sons: Pablo Carbajal, Jr. and wife JoAnn of Bangs, TX, Raul Carbajal and wife Estella of Aurora, CO, Nathan Carbajal and Veronica of Dumas, TX two brothers: Guillermo Carbajal of Tulia, TX, Florentino Carbajal of Mexico four sisters: Amelia Mendoza, Alicia Mendoza, and Faustina Carbajal all of Brownsville, TX, Beatrice Carbajal of San German, Mexico fourteen grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. The family will be at 118 N El Paso.
