Patricia Ann Clay

Patricia Ann Robertson Clay, 79 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 11, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church in Dumas. Rev. John Conley, pastor of the church will be officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Patricia was born on August 7, 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Elbert Arnold and Eugina Gourley Robertson. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School and went on to graduate from Odessa College. Patricia was united in marriage to John Madison Clay on July 15, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She worked as a legal secretary for various law firms, until her retirement to become a full time homemaker. Patricia was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she served as Elder and a member of various church committees. Patricia is survived by her husband, John of the home granddaughter, Kelley Anne Clay and fianc Nate Risser, and greatgrandsons, Blake Madison Risser and Hunter Lee Riser of Bismarck, North Dakota daughterinlaw, Anne Ayers and husband Josh, and children, Whitney, Austin, Tanis and Taylor of Helena Montana and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to the First Presbyterian Church, Logos Program, P. O. Box 1118, Dumas, TX 79029.
