Patsy Jean Keys, 70, formerly of Dumas, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in Plainview, Texas. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Sam White, pastor of North Plains Christian Church in Dumas officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Patsy was born on April 22, 1940 to Henry Eugene and Elsie Mae Wright. On April 20, 1992, she married Charlie Keys in Bullhead City, Arizona. He preceded her in death on July 29, 2009. She had been a resident of Dumas since 1972, until moving to Plainview last year to be near her family. Patsy was a homemaker, and was a loving wife and mother. Her hobbies included gardening, crocheting and painting.
Survivors include: daughters, Alveta Ferguson and husband Lee of New Mexico, Patricia Abron of Dumas, Sandy Byram and husband Tom of Sacramento, CA, and Becky Haney and husband Edward of Amarillo sons, Garland Banes and wife Rebecca of Plainview, and Jim Banes and wife Cathy of Amarillo brothers, Butch Wright of Idaho, Bill Wright and wife Linda of Guymon, OK, Kent Wright and wife Alice of Amarillo and Donnie Wright and wife Barbara of Arkansas 10 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
