Patsy Porter

Patsy Porter, 86 of Stratford passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. The family will hold a memorial service in Meeker, CO at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Patsy was born on August 30, 1935, in New Castle, CO to Richard and Oka Juanita (Rogers) Purcell. She had been a resident of Stratford for 7 years. In years past she had worked as a beautician for several years. She loved to crochet and had a passion for music. She loved to play the piano, sing, and listen to Charlie Pride. Patsy was united in marriage to Malvin Crawford and to this union, five children were born. Through life’s transitions, she later married V.H Savage, James Porter and Bill Taylor. Her family was very important to her; she cared deeply for her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Dixie Zimmerman; brother: Jerry Purcell. Patsy is survived by her sons: Lonnie J. Crawford and wife Bonnie of Wyoming, Danny Ray Crawford and wife Mary, Kelly Glenn Crawford and wife Vicki, Stanley J. Crawford and wife Vicki all of Colorado; daughters: Lori Ann Smith and husband Aaron of Stratford, TX, Kimberly J. Dodds and husband Rick of New Mexico; brother: Jimmy Purcell and wife Shirley of Colorado; 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
