Paul A. Andy Anderson, 81, Wabash, passed on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Millers Merry Manor West in Wabash, Indiana. Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana. Officiating the services will be Pastor Guy Provance and granddaughter, Kayla Myers. Burial will follow in the Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the funeral home. Arrangements are by McDonald Funeral Home.
Paul was born to the late Edward Ted and Ruby Elizabeth Rau Anderson on December 9, 1929 in Lagro, Indiana. He married Charlene A. Hornaday on August 12, 1950 in Lagro, Indiana. She preceded him in death on March 7, 2008. Paul was a selfemployed painting contractor. He served his country in the United States Army, during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church of Lagro. He was also a member of Moose Lodge 1195 and American Legion Post 15 both of Wabash. Paul enjoyed watching all sports especially the Chicago Cubs and IU Basketball.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene, one son, one granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters.
Paul is survived by one son five daughters, including Bev Huffman Krom and husband Chris of Amarillo one brother Eighteen grandchildren which includes Abbie Huffman and Mark Warrick of Amarillo, Josh Huffman and wife Genta of Franklin Texas, Indie Huffman of Amarillo, Andrew Krom of Indiana and Taylor Krom of Indiana and 28 greatgrandchildren including Rilynn Huffman of Franklin, and Hailey and Hunter Krom of Indiana.
