Paula B Palma

Paula Palma, 69, of Cactus passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2010. Paula will lie in state at Morrison Funeral Directors in Dumas on Monday, December 20, 2010 through Tuesday, December 21, 2010 until 5:00 P.M. Rosary will be said at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cactus. The funeral mass will be at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Carlos Castro officiating. Interment will follow in Stratford Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Paula was born on July 19, 1941 in Mexico to Juan Banda and Basilia Chavez. She married Ruben Palma in Mexico. Paula was a homemaker, and she loved taking care of her home and family. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents one brother, Claudio Banda one sister, Josephina Banda and one daughter, Flor Isela Palma. Survivors include: husband, Ruben Palma of the home two daughters, Elizabeth Hernandez and husband Ramon of Cactus and Graciela De Santiago of Cactus brothers, Gregorio Banda, Rosendo Banda, Paco Banda and Nemesio Banda, all of Mexico sisters, Reyes Banda and Rosario Banda of Mexico granddaughters, Crystal Reyes, Rebecca Reyes, Jasmine Reyes, Natalie Reyes, and Ariel De Santiago and one greatgrandson, Anthony Izaih Gonzales. The family will be at 501 Lovell in Cactus.
