Pauline Moore

Pauline Polly Moore, 79, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 in Dumas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 24, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Foster, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Pauline Polly Moore was born April 6, 1930 in Tell, Texas to Vance and Willie Osborn. On July 10, 1947 she married J.C. Moore and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was the manager of the Buccaneer Stamp Store for many years and drove the special education school bus for 25 years. Polly had been a resident of Dumas since 1953 and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jackie Moore in 1998, three brothers and one sister. Survivors include; daughter, Beth Beck and husband, Dane of Dumas; son Michael Moore and wife, Georgia of Dayton, Tx; brother, Porter Osborn and wife Myrl of Garland; sister, Maurice Grimes and husband Howard of Childress; seven grandchildren, Dale, Shannon, Angie, Deena, Randy, Christine, Rita and 19 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Nursing Rehab, 302 E. 2nd. Dumas, TX 79029 or to JDRF. Org Junior Diabetes Research Foundation. The family will be at 205 Bruce in Dumas.
