Peggy Aultman, 94 of Sunray, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at First Assembly of God with Royce Matthews, officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock in the evening on Friday at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Sunray. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Peggy was born on March 27, 1927 in London, England to Alfred and Alice (Redman) Tiddeman. She met and married her husband “Chief” Aultman in England on July 21, 1945 where he was stationed during the war; he preceded her in death. Eventually the couple would move to Sunray where they made their home. She was as a seamstress and worked at Cut Rate grocery store and IGA in the meat department. Peggy loved walking and would be seen walking around Sunray. She was a member of First Assembly of God and will be missed by her family and all who knew her. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons: Dan and Floyd “Bones” Aultman; sister: Joan Nichols; granddaughter: Elizabeth Ortiz. Peggy is survived by her sons: Dale “Red Hawk” Aultman and wife Beth of Canon City, CO, and Keith “Two Dogs” Aultman of Careywood, ID; daughter: Sandra Bonilla of Sunray, TX; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great-grandchildren.The family suggests with gratitude memorials be made to American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109.
