Peggy Roberts

Peggy Roberts 72 passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Rodney Riggan, former pastor officiating, assisted by Rev. Steve Swanson, pastor of the church. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Peggy was born May 6, 1936 in Amarillo, Texas to Oran Delmer and Jewell Roberts. She had been a resident of Dumas for 22 years and took care of children. She was certified in reflexology and loved to cook. She loved to play the piano and was a big fan of Disney. Peggy was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Joyce Baldwin and Dorothy Laverne Griffith. Survivors include; sisters, Frances Guest of Dumas, Shirley McGregor of Amarillo; and brother, Elton Roberts of Bristow, Okla. Memorials may be made to Baptist St. Anthony Hospice, PO Box 950, Amarillo, TX. 79105. The family will be at 210 Chelsea in Dumas.
