Phyllis Miller

Phyllis Miller, 88 formerly of Sunray, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 o'clock in the morning on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Sunray with Rev. Karen Young, officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery. Phyllis was born on June 7, 1928 in Berkeley, CA to Roy and Martha (Hicks) Miller. She worked for the Sunray post office for many years driving the rural route. One of her most endearing qualities was, she loved to visit with people. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sunray for over 60 years and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband Don Miller in 1994 and son: Ronald Miller in 1980. Phyllis is survived by her son: Danny Miller of Waterford, MS and granddaughter: Janet Dobbs of Jacksonville, FL.
