Ray Dean Hamby

Ray Hamby, 64 of Independence, MO, passed on Saturday July 3, 2021. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson Morrison Funeral Directors. Ray was born on October 6, 1956, in Ft. Leavenworth, KS to Dwight and Geraldine (Orum) Hamby. Ray spent most of his life in Missouri where he worked at a grocer and produce manager. He was a hard worker and a good friend to his co-workers. He will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Doris Jean Fairchild. Ray is survived by a sister: Deana Van Beek and husband Scott of Amarillo, TX; two brothers: Rocky Hamby and wife Diedre of Dumas, TX and Kent Fletcher of Amarillo, TX; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
