Regina Jimenez Chacon, 93 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 o\x92 clock in the morning on Saturday, February 28 at Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o\x92 clock in the evening on Friday at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Regina was born on September 7, 1921 in Caldwell, TX to Teoflio and Juanita Jimenez. She had been a resident of Dumas for about fifty years. Regina loved her family and enjoyed spending as much with them as she could. She was a member of Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Guadalupe R. Chacon Sr.; three sons: Danny, Ray and David Chacon and one daughter: Angelita Chacon. Regina is survived by her children: Guadalupe Chacon Jr and wife Soila of Dumas, Rosa Ordaz and husband Willie of El Paso, Margie Ni\xF1o of California, Johnny Chacon of Dumas, Ruben Chacon of California and Angie Gist and husband Bobby of Amarillo; two sisters: Catalina Flores of Lubbock and Epifania Jimenez of Houston; twenty eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
