Richard Asebedo Lopez, 42, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009 in Amarillo. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 19, 2009 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Juan Lopez Jr. and Elias Lopez, brothers of Richard officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Richard Asebedo Lopez was born June 9, 1967 in Garden City, Kansas to Juan and Elvira Lopez, Sr. He was a resident of San Angelo and Plainview before moving to Dumas in 1998. He worked in retail sales. He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Lopez Sr. in 1995 and a daughter, Kassandra Lopez in 2001. Survivors include his parents, Elvira and Derrel McLoud of Dumas; sons, Adrian Lopez of El Paso, Napoleon Lopez and Noel Lopez both of Lubbock; daughters, Alyssa Lopez of Temple, Jackie Lopez of Round Rock, Amanda Lopez of Levelland and Elvira Lopez of Lubbock; brothers, Juan Lopez Jr. of Dumas, Elias Lopez of Bovina; sisters, Linda Munoz and Lydia Lopez both of Dumas; 13 nephews and nieces and 5 grandchildren. The family will be at 134 Cherry in Dumas.
