Robert "Bobby" R Miranda

Robert “Bobby” Miranda Jr., 74 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022.  The rosary will be recited at 7 o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Morrison Memorial Chapel.  A graveside service will be held at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Dumas Cemetery with Deacon De la Rosa officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Bobby was born on January, 29, 1948 in Asherton , TX to Roberto and Dora Miranda.  When Bobby was in the fifth grade, the family moved to Dumas where he was raised and graduated from Dumas High School.  After graduation, Bobby attended a technical school and became a mechanic.  He worked for Plains Chevrolet for 17 years and later for Dean Webb Chevrolet as the service manager.  Bobby married Amor Roxas in April of 1979 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  Bobby was a very kind and giving man who would stop on the side of the road anytime someone needed help.  He had a heart of gold.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Amor of the home; siblings: Albert Miranda of Amarillo, TX, Amelia Rangel of Dumas, TX and Susie Flores of Waco, TX; his dog Brownie and his kitten Little Gangster along with numerous nieces and nephews.
