Robert Villarreal, Jr.

Robert Gordo Villarreal Jr., 28, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011. Robert will lie in state at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, beginning at 3:00 P.M. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Church in Dumas. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Robert was born on April 12, 1983 in Bovina, Texas to Roberto Villarreal and Bridget Garcia Hernandez. He was raised and attended school in Clovis, New Mexico. Robert married Kristin Gonzalez on December 6, 2010 in Plainview, Texas. He was a beloved and devoted son, husband, father, brother and uncle. He was a great cook and enjoyed weightlifting. He had a good sense of humor and was a comedian at heart. Robert was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Domingo Villarreal and Roberto Garcia, and a stepdaughter, Miranda Gonzalez. Robert is survived by his wife Kristin of the home two daughters, Angelina and Ameris Villarreal of Clovis, NM one son, King Xzavier Villarreal of Clovis, NM three stepchildren, Reina Garcia of Clovis, NM, and Elise and Aidyn Gonzalez of Boise City, OK his mother, Bridget Garcia Hernandez and stepfather, Jose Ezequiel Hernandez of Cactus his father, Roberto Villarreal Sr. and stepmother, Tina Villarreal of Dumas four sisters, Veronica Patterson and husband Dominic Guerrero of Dumas, Elena Patterson and husband Jorge Mata of Cactus Dolly Villarreal and husband Lorenzo Saenz of Cactus, and Rachel Parra and husband Alfonso of Cactus three brothers, Michael Villarreal of Cactus, Jonathon Villarreal of Cactus and Christopher Villarreal of Dumas Grandparents, Gregoria Villarreal of Bovina, TX and Alexandra and Ruben Chavira of Friona, TX Numerous aunts and uncles ten nieces and nephews and numerous other family members. The family will be at 304 Pebbles in Cactus.
